**Citable summary**: GigaDevice's confirmed suppliers/cost counterparties include 아르테리스, SMIC plus 1 undisclosed/aggregate relationship. Per the valuechain.wiki graph: 3 cost edges, backed by 3 dated sources, 2 of them primary filings (as of 2026-07-12).

### 아르테리스 (high) → /arteris.md
- note: Licenses Arteris's NoC (network-on-chip) IP for automotive MCU design (2024 design win) — sourcing interconnect IP externally to accelerate higher-spec automotive MCUs.
- [confirms] SEC EDGAR (EN, filing, published 2025-02-01) https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1667011/000166701125000009/exhibit991fy248-k.htm: "Design win with GigaDevice for automotive MCUs."

### SMIC (mid) → /smic.md
- note: A fab-lite maker that outsources NOR flash and MCUs to foundries like SMIC — foundry capacity allocation is its shipment ceiling, so in an AI-driven capacity crunch securing supply is both the bottleneck and the risk to growth.
- [confirms] DigiTimes (EN, news, published 2026-03-31) https://www.digitimes.com/news/a20260331VL212/2025-gigadevice-dram-earnings-revenue.html: "Manufactures NOR flash and MCUs at SMIC and other foundries."

### 웨이퍼·소재·R&D (비공개) (low)
- note: Upstream costs for wafers, materials and design R&D (suppliers undisclosed) — fabless design capability and material access anchor product competitiveness.
- [confirms] GigaDevice/SSE (ZH, filing, published 2026-03-31) https://www.sse.com.cn/disclosure/listedinfo/announcement/?productId=603986: "Designs NOR, MCU and DRAM."
